As a Service Desk Agent, you actively manage the troubleshooting of our customer networks, follow the operations processes from A to Z in a medium-sized ICT company and independently take on challenging projects.

Location Mainz

This is what you can expect with us:

  • You will record and prioritise customer enquiries and faults in our ticket system (first level support).
  • You coordinate and distribute the tickets in the team and keep track of the processing.
  • You initiate and control necessary escalations within the framework of SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and resolutely follow them up.
  • You communicate with German and international customers, partners and carriers by e-mail and telephone.
  • You support the engineering team in projects and problem analyses in an amibitionated manner.
  • You actively contribute your ideas and support the implementation of jointly agreed optimisation measures (tools, procedures and processes).
  • You document independently and update existing documentation.
  • After your successful onboarding, you will actively work in the rolling on-call system.

Your qualifications:

  • Completed technical IT training or studies or comparable experience
  • You count knowledge of ticket and monitoring systems among your strengths.
  • Cisco know-how in routing, switching, troubleshooting, VPN, MPLS and IPSec advantageous
  • Communication and coordination skills and team player mentality
  • German language skills at native speaker level as well as very good English skills. You can instruct customers and suppliers in both languages.
