Location: Mainz

Your tasks with us:

  • You take responsibility for 1st level support and are the first point of contact for technical inquiries - solution-oriented, structured and professional.
  • You document and prioritize tickets efficiently in the system and work with the team to ensure smooth processes.
  • You recognize critical faults at an early stage, initiate escalations within the framework of our SLAs (Service Level Agreements) and follow them up consistently.
  • You communicate confidently with customers, partners and service providers - by telephone and in writing, in German and English.
  • You work closely with our engineering team, grow step by step into technical topics and increasingly take on your own configurations and smaller projects
  • You think along with us and help drive improvements to tools, processes and workflows
  • You maintain and create documentation and ensure comprehensible, cross-team knowledge.
  • After successful onboarding, you will participate in the rotating on-call service - with corresponding additional remuneration.

What you bring with you:

  • Completed IT training, a technical degree - or comparable practical experience
  • Confident handling of ticket and monitoring systems from everyday IT work
  • Initial knowledge of the Cisco environment (e.g. routing, switching, VPN, MPLS, IPSec) is a plus - but not a must
  • Enjoy communication, good organizational skills and real team thinking
  • Very good German (near native speaker) and solid English for international exchange
